Stewarding
Carnage UK events are a really big night for all of our students. In order to ensure that the whole night operates smoothly, we are always looking for stewards to assist us with the efficient running of our events.
Our stewards are NOT permitted to consume alcohol until they have completed their job and have arrived at the end SuperClub. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
If you are applying to be a steward, you will need to be a responsible person. You will be responsible for your group of students, along with the other stewards allocated to your group. It is a team effort – you as a an individual will contribute to the team effort.
Stewards responsibilites include:
- Assisting the movement of students between venues
- Ensuring that general behaviour of students attending Carnage is acceptable
- Assisting with the movement of students in public areas, for example, at road crossings
- Liaising with venue managers and Carnage UK managers, duty managers and team leaders to ensure that the event is operating without incident.
- Assisting with the signing & autographing of students’ t-shirts.
Stewarding is an exceptionally unique role. It is a fun job but does require commitment, a responsible attitude and lateral thinking.
If you think you have what it takes, please complete an application form below. If we have vacancies available for your city, we will be in touch with you, either via email or by telephone.
Please note that stewarding is a volunteer position and is therefore unpaid.
The role of event steward is an excellent method of demonstrating key personal/interpersonal skills and team work to prospective employers. We also provide references for future courses and/or employers.
